Austen Says Craig and Paige’s Relationship Has Him Thinking About His Next Romance
Southern Charm’s Austen Kroll admits he sometimes wonders, “When am I gonna find someone?”
As cuffing season approaches, Austen Kroll has been thinking a lot about his next relationship.
The Southern Charm cast member made the admission during the Aug. 17 episode of Pillows and Beer, a podcast series he co-hosts with Craig Conover. At one point during the broadcast, the Southern Charm-ers began discussing the science behind “couple photos,” and how body posture can indicate relationship dynamics.
“Have you looked into the ‘green line test’ at all?” Craig asked his castmate. “It’s basically this analysis of couples’ pictures and how healthy their relationship is based on how they take a picture together.”

After admitting that such a test would give him “so much stress,” Austen began to reflect on his romantic life.
“When am I going to take another couple photo, Craig?” he asked. “I’m kind of interested to see who I’m gonna end up with. I know that you are. I know that you’re, like, ‘I wonder what that person is gonna look like.’”
Craig said he was “excited” for Austen to start a new romance, but encouraged him to take his time.
“I think the non-rushing, take the foot off the gas, and put on the cruise control is… I don’t want to say the ‘answer,’ but I think that’s perfect for right now,” he explained.
Austen Kroll insists he won't rush into another relationship
Austen said he agreed, but admitted that Craig’s relationship with Summer House’s Paige DeSorbo has caused him to ponder his next love.
“Craig’s always sittin’ here talkin’ about Paige, and I’m not gonna lie, it makes me a little, like, ‘Aw, man. When am I gonna find someone?’” he said. “Which, once again, I’m absolutely in no rush. I want it to be right and good and great. But I just wonder what it looks like for me.”
“It’s probably gonna be a lot of smiling and happiness and straight ‘green line’ pictures,” Craig responded.
Austen Kroll's Dating History
Austen’s relationship history has been well documented on the small screen. Since joining Southern Charm in 2017’s Season 4, fans have seen the TropHop Beers founder get romantically involved with multiple women, including Summer House’s Ciara Miller, Southern Charm alum Chelsea Meissner, as well as Southern Charm cast members Madison LeCroy and Olivia Flowers.
A preview for Southern Charm Season 9 teased Austen’s alleged hookup with Taylor Ann Green, the ex-girlfriend of Southern Charm-er Shep Rose. Of course, Austen has remained relatively tight-lipped about the situation but told podcast listeners that they’ll learn more once the series returns on Sept. 14.
“We have a whole season coming,” he said. “Y’all will see all sorts of things.”
