Southern Charm Season 9 premieres on Thursday, September 14, at 9/8c on Bravo. Episodes will be available to stream the next day on Peacock.
Who is in the Southern Charm Season 9 cast?
Craig Conover, Austen Kroll, Shep Rose, Madison LeCroy, Venita Aspen, Olivia Flowers, Taylor Ann Green, and Leva Bonaparte are all set to return for Southern Charm Season 9. They’ll be joined by newcomers Jarrett Thomas, Rodrigo Reyes, and Rod Razavi. Keep scrolling to learn more about them!
What can fans expect on Southern Charm Season 9?
Much of the drama on Southern Charm’s upcoming ninth season revolves around a rumored hookup between Austen and Taylor, which in turn affects their relationships with Olivia and Shep.
Austen is the first to acknowledge that “something happened” with Taylor at the beginning of the trailer, but he doesn’t provide any additional details — not even after Madison yells, “Did you f-ck Taylor or not?”
The alleged hookup is at the center of several additional conversations in the trailer, many of which end in tears.
Will Patricia Altschul and Whitney Sudler-Smith appear on Season 9 of Southern Charm?
Why, yes! Per the press release, “Patricia Altschul, the Grand Dame of Charleston, is back to hold court over the group with son Whitney Sudler-Smith, who finds himself somewhat relieved of his butler duties.”

Elsewhere, Craig and his girlfriend, Summer House cast member Paige DeSorbo, are having relationship troubles of their own. She expresses that she’s “not trying to plan a wedding right now,” but the way Craig sees it, “Why would we date if we’re not gonna take the next step?”

Craig now has set his sights on nationwide distribution. With his professional life thriving, Craig wants his long-term New Yorker girlfriend, Paige, by his side in Charleston.
The press release adds, “The construction on Craig’s house is a work-in-progress, and so is his relationship status with Paige. Craig finds himself in dating limbo and is hoping for her to commit to a move down South.”
Austen Kroll
Perennial beer connoisseur Austen starts this year turning his attention inward by asking himself why his romantic endeavors are always failing, with Olivia being his latest hot-and-cold relationship to freeze over. He turns to therapy and his parents to find out what kind of work he needs to do on himself, but once again finds himself in the center of unfolding drama.
A press release adds, “After his hot-and-cold relationship with Olivia freezes over, Austen is left wondering why his romantic endeavors never work out. Now some of his closest friendships come into question when dating rumors start to surface.”
Shep Rose
Shep’s relationship with Taylor came to an explosive end last year. He took some time to travel, seeking solace in Australia and South Africa. Upon returning, he feels he may have been bitten by the wanderlust bug for good, now contemplating whether Charleston is right for him.
The press release for the new season also adds, “Fresh off a sabbatical in Australia, Shep has returned to Charleston and is ready to work on a friendship with Taylor, which proves difficult when he hears rumors about what she’s been up to while he was Down Under.”
Madison LeCroy
Resident Southern belle Madison is reveling in wedded bliss, with her new husband, Brett, splitting his time between South Carolina and California. Madison is focused on friendships, cooking, gardening, and possibly growing her family — all while standing her ground in the group and never suffering fools gladly.
The press release adds, “Newly married Madison is settling into domestic bliss, with husband Brett splitting his time between Charleston and California. Though she is focused on mending friendships, she doesn’t suffer fools gladly and fires back at anyone who attempts to bring her down.”
Venita Aspen
Ever the fashionista, Venita is an influencer with perfect head-to-toe outfits and an eye for the latest trends. With her professional life thriving, Venita is focused on new friendships and her stable boyfriend, Manny, a musician with whom she harmonizes perfectly.
The press release adds, “With a stable new beau in her life, Venita has left the feud with Madison in the past and is focused on new friendships with Olivia and Taylor. She’s not afraid to call out transgressions within the group and take sides if necessary.”
Olivia Flowers
Olivia is now a mainstay in Charleston. Her “roommates” (aka her parents, Robin and Garry) have moved out of their palatial waterfront pad, leaving Olivia to rule as lady of the manor. She has put Austen in the rearview as she explores the dating scene and focuses on cultivating new female friendships.

Taylor Ann Green
At the end of last year, Taylor was reeling from the emotional end of her two-year relationship with Shep. Now the former orthodontics assistant is forging a new career in sales and finds herself becoming Charleston’s new “It girl.” She enjoys her singledom with her best friend, Olivia, by her side, but the emergence of some racy rumors threaten their friendship.
A press release for the new season also adds, “Taylor is still working through her breakup with Shep and has been leaning on best friend Olivia for support. When a potential hookup of hers is revealed, Taylor denies the allegations and is unapologetic about enjoying her single life.”
Jarrett Thomas
JT is a Virginia native and a true Southern gentleman. His real estate business is incredibly successful, but he’s also a pro at partying. His friendships with Shep, Craig, and Austen have cemented him in the group, but he’s looking for a partner to spend the rest of his life with and has a particular Southern belle in mind.

Rodrigo Reyes
Rodrigo is an interior designer in a long-term relationship with his boyfriend, Tyler. He has been friends with the Charm-ers for many years and helps to keep them grounded.
Leva Bonaparte
Leva owns four of the hottest bars on King Street in the heart of Charleston, but Republic is her crown jewel. When the mom of one isn’t juggling the drama of her staff, she acts as a surrogate big sister to the Charm-ers.
The press release adds, “Leva continues to be the voice of reason, providing a shoulder to lean on for the ladies and offering sage advice about the Holy City’s Peter Pans.”
Rod Razavi
Rod is a computer programmer who has resided in Charleston for more than 18 years. He considers himself to be a true Southern gentleman and social butterfly, making friends everywhere he goes. He has recently set his romantic sights on Olivia.
