Ariana Reveals “What Kept [Her] Going” After Discovering Tom and Raquel’s Affair
During Part 3 of the reunion, Ariana and Tom also shared their wishes for each other moving forward.
The Vanderpump Rules Season 10 reunion has laid bare the devastating impacts of Tom Sandoval and Raquel Leviss’ affair, but now Ariana Madix is looking on the bright side.
More specifically, during Part 3 of the reunion, she highlighted one of the few positive aspects to come from the drama after Tom Schwartz asked her how it felt to experience “one of the worst most moments in your life” while at the same time the “entire f-cking nation is rallying behind you.”
Ariana’s response? “It’s what kept me going.”
How Did Ariana Madix React When She Found Out About Tom Sandoval's Affair?
Though she got emotional while answering Schwartz, she continued: “My friends and my family, you guys, and strangers — people I’ve never met — it’s honestly what kept me going,” she explained. “I had a week and a half where I, like, didn’t eat. I lost like eight pounds. I couldn’t do anything. I had someone stay with me every night because I felt like I needed to be babysat, honestly.”
Sandoval, for his part, also expressed his gratitude for the support Ariana has been receiving — he just wished some of it had been directed his way. “I appreciate people being behind Ariana and giving her all the support. I really, really do. She deserves it,” he told the group. “[But] it was heartbreaking to have friends that I would say we’re both just as close [with] not even text [me] and go straight to social media and create, like, funny memes… A text message would’ve been nice.”
What's Next for Ariana Madix and Tom Sandoval?
At the conclusion of the reunion, Sandoval shared a somber message while simultaneously reflecting on his relationship with Ariana and looking to both of their futures.
“I understand what I did was very, very f-cked up, but understand that I’m a human. I make mistakes. I made a f-cking terrible mistake. I hurt somebody I’ve never loved more ever in my entire life,” he said to the group before turning to Ariana herself. “Ariana, I know that you hate me and it’s OK — it’s OK, I understand — but I want you to know that I will always love you and I will always be cheering you on from afar. Always.”
Ariana shared a parting message of her own, but first thanked Scheana Shay, Lala Kent, James Kennedy, Katie Maloney, and Lisa Vanderpump for “being there for me today and in the last three weeks and always.”
As for Sandoval, Ariana noted, “I will not forgive him and I will not be cheering him on from afar.”
