Ariana Biermann Reveals a Stunning New Look: "It's Hard for Me to Recognize Myself"
The Don't Be Tardy daughter said she experienced "disassociation" after the refresh.
Ariana Biermann is taking a walk on the lighter side.
After months of rocking long brown locks, the Don’t Be Tardy daughter decided to switch up her look with a much lighter hair color. Ariana showed off the stunning transformation in a series of social media posts, admitting the change was so drastic that she had trouble recognizing herself.
“I am experiencing disassociation,” she said in a September 25 Instagram Story. “I have genuinely not seen my hair this blond in so long and it’s hard for me to recognize myself. Is this normal?”
Why Ariana Biermann was hesitant to lighten her hair
Ariana teased the update in a September 25 TikTok video, where she debated three hair color options. There was an ashy brown, a chocolate brown, or a dirty blond — all of which she previously donned.
“I feel like I really want her,” she said about the latter. “But am I too old for that? Everyone voted ‘no’ on my Instagram poll for this (the blond color) but I really think I want her… I love her.”

Ariana said she was drawn to the dirty blond because of the dark-light color combination: “[It] represents my indecisive-ass personality… the mix of it all.”
The video followed Ariana to Habit Salon in Gilbert, Arizona, where she enlisted Chrissy Ellingson Rasmussen to color her hair.
“I either made a great decision or I’m going to cry,” she said while sitting at the drying station, “I always tell Chrissy don’t let me go blonder.”

Despite her initial hesitation, Ariana was clearly thrilled with the outcome. She showed off the gorgeous results in several more clips and called on fans for their input.
“I love her,” she continued. “Did I make the right decision? I think I did. Let me know… I’m open to other opinions.”
Ariana also posted her hair update in a September 25 Instagram post captioned, “feeling happier.” Her mom, The Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak-Biermann, co-signed the look in an Instagram Story.
Ariana Biermann moves to NYC with her boyfriend
2024 has brought many changes for Ariana — and we’re not just talking about her hair. The Georgia native left the ATL earlier this year and moved to New York City alongside her boyfriend, Hudson McLeroy. She confirmed the big move in a July 7 Instagram photo of her and Hudson sharing a kiss against the city skyline.
“[T]aking our love story to a new city,” she captioned the post. “We officially live in New York!!!! [T]hank you god for making this possible and allowing me to live my dream [with] my best friend.”
