Ben Robinson on His Romance with Emily Warburton-Adams and Current Relationship Status

From what we can remember of Ben Robinson's time as chef on Below Deck and Below Deck Mediterranean, the ladies loved him and vice versa. However, Season 4 of Below Deck showed a different side to Ben as he struck up a romance with Emily Warburton-Adams.

Ben and Emily's relationship even continued after Season 4 of Below Deck ended. But Ben confirmed during an interview on the After Deck with Kate Chastain podcast in October 2017 that he and the second stew had decided to call it quits. "I can't exactly exclaim that we're steady and dating at this point in time," he explained. "We just don't see each other enough to have a serious relationship."

However, he did leave the door open to explore a relationship with Emily again in the future. "You know, Emily and I, we're always going to have a special place in one another's hearts," Ben said on the podcast. "So hopefully, we may be able to rekindle something in the future."

Though they were no longer a couple, Ben and Emily continued to spend time together, catching up in his new hometown of Fort Lauderdale, Florida or her city of London. Their most recent reunion captured on social media was in October 2018, according to Ben's Instagram.

Ben recently told PEOPLE that he and Emily had trouble making a long distance relationship work. “We’re friends. Our romance ended, and on good terms. Emily is a London girl and very close to her mother. I lived in London for quite a few years and that was a chapter that I was quite happy to close in my life. I have a lovely condo that I own in Fort Lauderdale and it wouldn’t make sense for me to go rent an apartment in London at great expense. I guess we just reached a Russian standoff," Ben explained. "We’ve maintained a great friendship, though. She does fly out to see me and I saw her in London a few months ago — actually, on the tail end of my Below Deck Mediterranean trip."

The chef said that he is now looking to settle down, but he's not currently involved in anything serious. “No. There’s a few girls, but I’ve reached that age where I’m really trying to settle down now in terms of grounding myself with a land-based business," he said. "And in turn, I want to find a viable partner who I can maybe marry and have a kid and everything.”

Emily showed her excitement for Ben to be back as part of the Below Deck Med crew this season in the comments to his Instagram post teasing his return on August 19. "Yassssss," she exclaimed, along with a heart and praying hands emoji.
