Andy Cohen’s "One of One" Apartment Officially Hits the Market with Ryan Serhant for $14M
The WWHL host shared why he decided to sell his two-story apartment with the MDLNY alum as the listing agent.
During a July 18 guest appearance on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen, Ryan Serhant revealed he was selling Andy Cohen's West Village apartment. More recently, after the stunning 3,500-square-foot apartment officially hit the market, Andy and Ryan opened up about working together on the sale.
“The first time I ever walked into Andy’s apartment, I said, ‘Whenever you are willing to part with this, even if I have to pull it from your grip, please let me know. Because it’s a one of one,’” the Million Dollar Listing New York alum told The New York Times in an interview published on September 4. “It’s one of those treasures that you wait your whole career for to find something like this that you get to bring to market and sell."
Inside Andy Cohen's New York City Apartment Sale
The apartment, which is listed at $14 million, is actually a melded mix of four separate apartments Andy renovated over the years to create one home. The Missouri native purchased one unit in 2003 and later took on another unit above, then two adjacent studios. He worked with the architect Gordon Kahn to bring the apartments together to form a duplex.
Andy has brought us into his West Village abode over the years, including sharing his home office tour in the video above.
Below, you can see more peeks inside the stunning, two-story space, which features three bedrooms, an office, a den, and more rooms.
The apartment also has a luxurious home bar, several wood-burning fireplaces, a steam room, and huge closets.
The dad of two outfitted his home with bold decor, including a plaid sectional sofa, a sleek midcentury office with bright green glass doors (and a disco ball), bright blue kitchen cabinetry, and a bright red, Studio 54-style powder room that would make Andy Warhol envious.
Andy Cohen's New Penthouse Apartment
Though Andy spent over two decades renovating and perfecting his dream NYC apartment, he became enticed by a penthouse just a short walk from his current residence. The new home he recently purchased has a 3,000-square-foot interior and a 2,000-square-foot terrace.
“It was a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity,” Andy shared with the Times about snagging the property — mainly due to his burgeoning desire for an outdoor space. “I had to take it.”
