Ally Lewber Just Transformed a Special Room in the House She Shares with James (PICS)

The Vanderpump Rules astrologer admitted she was "nervous" before taking on this DIY home project.

Ally Lewber just made some beautiful changes to her and James Kennedy's cozy California home, and it's all thanks to the cosmos.

How to Watch

"Hi, don’t mind me! Jupiter is just transiting my 4th house," the Vanderpump Rules astrologer captioned a September 1 Instagram video, showing how she was getting her office ready to "limewash paint" the walls a gorgeous pink color. While we don't exactly know how the movement of Jupiter pertains to Ally's DIY project (she'll have to give us an astrological download), we do love what we saw from the Ohio native.

"I've been spending the past few days priming my walls and now it's finally time," she stated in a voiceover. Ally then revealed she was painting her walls the color "Dumbo" via Portala Paints in the Limewash finish.

Though Ally revealed in the voiceover how "nervous" she was for the task, she also noted how much research she did for the limewash project, which is not your typical paint job.

According to Architectural Digest, limewash is a "textured paint" with a "chalky, nuanced texture that creates a romantic old-world feel." You can see that aesthetic effect in Ally's office space as she moved throughout the room with a brush making X-like patterns vs. using a paint roller to make large, broad strokes.

The process seemed pretty arduous, but as Ally noted in the voiceover of her video, it's important to keep a "wet edge" while working, meaning she could take "very few breaks."

The "Girl's Girl" singer let out a nervous laugh about her finished main wall looking frightening, but she implored her followers to "trust the process."

One friend (and DIY home project extraordinaire) Brock Davies left his encouragement in the comments section, writing, "Yessss I love this."

Ally had to take a break for the night before taking on a second coat of paint, but she showed off the finished product the next day in a stunning reveal. "Limewash project is complete," she captioned the post. "I like it, what do you guys think?!"

Even before she added back all her furniture pieces and decorative art objects, we were in love with both the paint color and limewash texture, which created a soothing, sophisticated feel.

James was sure to comment on his girlfriend's hard work, gushing about the pretty pink color. "Love it!" he exclaimed.
