Aesha's Return to Below Deck Med Starts with the "Worst First Charter": "So Unfair"
Aesha Scott opened up to The Daily Dish about the "really intense start of the season" on Below Deck Mediterranean.
Aesha Scott has officially made her return to the Med! On Below Deck Mediterranean's Season 9 premiere, Aesha couldn't have been more excited to be back "where it all started" and working with Captain Sandy Yawn again. However, things quickly took a turn.
Shortly after Aesha boarded Mustique on the June 3 episode, she learned the forward cabin had a leak (meaning no crew members could use it). Then, provisions for the first charter were not only delayed, but had a shocking amount of items missing when they arrived.
"I have never had an issue with provisioning like this before," Aesha said during the episode. "I don't know what's going on."

Aesha reflected on the chaotic experience in a recent interview with The Daily Dish.
"The first charter, that honestly was probably the most stressed I have ever been in my whole yachting career," she said. "It just felt really unfair because I had put so much time and effort [into] preparing and planning and making sure everything was perfect before I joined. Then the provisions didn’t come, and all of the preparations that I did were pointless because [of] all of these reasons that were totally outside of my control ... I just felt upset because it just felt so unfair."

Aesha Scott weighs in on Bri Muller's laundry struggle
The "shocking" start to the charter only got worse when Aesha realized that third stew Bri Muller was struggling to get the guests' laundry done after spending more than six hours steaming clothes.
"I remember running around trying to distract the guests about the fact that we don’t have anything, and then I’m suddenly like, 'Wait, where is Bri? I sent her to go steam these things hours ago.' And I go down there, and she’s pretty much done, like, four things," Aesha told The Daily Dish. "I just wanted to explode. It was so irritating."
"But you know, I was like, 'It’s the first day.' You can’t get too annoyed," she continued. "Everyone’s settling in. So that’s why I kind of took over the iron, and I was like, 'I’m gonna do a few things to help catch you up.'"
Explaining that "it just felt there was just one thing after another," Aesha declared, "It was definitely the worst first charter I’ve ever had in my life."
Aesha initially let the laundry issue go because "it was a really intense start of the season," and Bri was "pretty new" to yachting.
"I was hoping it was just the first-day jitters kind of thing," she explained. However, she said with a laugh, "You'll see, it’s not quite just the first-day jitters."
