On October 23, the Below Deck Mediterranean cast member took to her Instagram Stories to detail her experience getting LASIK, which is a vision correction surgery ("LASIK" stands for "laser in-situ keratomileusis," according to WebMD).

After her procedure, the chief stew sat in the car with her fiancéScott “Scotty” Dobson, who filmed her recovering. "It was actually fine. It's not the nicest thing in the world [...] what I'd call it is 'fine.'" she confessed, further explaining the details of the procedure.

"They put in your numbing drops and they suction your eyeball to the thing and then they slice off a flap," she recalled. "Obviously you don't feel it, it just feels like your vision's going really blurry. They do one eye at a time on the first machine, and then they swivel you to the second machine and then they do one eye at a time looking into the laser with your flaps open."

Though Aesha described a "fine" experience, she noted she was anxious before heading in. "I just started freaking out inside because I was like, 'What if the numbing drops didn't work and I'm gonna feel you slice off my eyeball!' But...I didn't feel it."

Aesha then explained that she was wearing "eye guards" to protect her eyes and that the technicians instructed her to keep her eyes "shut" as much as possible. "They [gave me] a sleeping pill to take until dinnertime, so I can wake up, have dinner, take another sleeper so I sleep all night, and then [in] the morning you can open your eyes!"

Aesha Scott's Lip Blushing Procedure

In addition to getting the eye surgery, earlier in the month, Aesha made a change to another area of her face: her lips.

"I am so excited today! Guess what I'm doing? I'm going to get lip blush done! I'm getting my lips tattooed," Aesha stated in an Instagram Story video while sitting in her car before her procedure. "My lips...they've just been something that's annoyed me for so, so long. As you guys know, my whole life I've gotten cold sores [...] and because of that, I just have a very undefined lip line." (According to WebMD, lip blushing is a semi-permanent tattoo applied to the lips that lasts for up to two years and costs between $500 to $1,500).

Before the procedure, Aesha shared a photo of herself, explaining, "Drew the lines on and got me ready to go!"

Post-procedure, the New Zealander shared a peek at the bold lip color.

"How effing nice does that look!" Aesha exclaimed about her new lips. "I am so into it! I'm so, so, SO happy!"
