The fact that her husband was also on charter made things "awkward" for the Below Deck Season 6 chef.
Out of all of the truly unforgettable charter guests we met this season of Below Deck, there was one that only had eyes for Adrian Martin. Charter guest Helen seemed to immediately take a liking to the Below Deck chef and his cooking (but it seemed like mostly the chef himself), complimenting his mouth-watering, "palette aphrodisiac" creations at every meal.
Helen's high praise wasn't always music to Adrian's ears, however, especially since she was on charter with her husband, who seemed like a guy no one in the M/Y Seanna crew wanted to mess with. "She seemed a little bit overenthusiastic about the food. And the way she expressed it was a little bit disturbing at times," Adrian said during the Below Deck Season 6 After Show, which you can check out, above. "So it was definitely an awkward situation at some points."
After her private cooking lesson with Adrian while on charter, Helen wanted to be able to contact him in the future — in case she was ever in need of more of his culinary expertise, we can only imagine. "And at the end of [the cooking lesson], she asks for my personal information, for my phone number, so I give her my email," Adrian recalled. "But as I'm giving her my email, her husband walks in, so that makes it so awkward. Like, sh--!"
