The Heat Is On! Ben Robinson Just Challenged Adrian Martin to a "Cook Off" (UPDATED)
Kate Chastain has already appointed herself judge of this dream Below Deck competition.
UPDATE (November 1, 12:34 P.M.): Adrian responded to Ben's "cook off" invitation on Twitter. "Thanks Ben, sounds fun.. we should do it!" he tweeted. Oui, chefs!
The original story continues below.
Captain Lee Rosbach and Kate Chastain named the best Below Deck chef of all time during an interview with The Daily Dish last month. You can check out who won their vote in the video, above. But now Ben Robinson wants to settle this once and for all.
The chef, who appeared in Season 1 through Season 4 of Below Deck, challenged Season 6's chef Adrian Martin to a little competition to see who really reigns supreme in the galley. "@RealChefAdrian Congrats on your food this season," Ben tweeted to Below Deck's current chef. "And when you’re ready... Let’s cook off..."
It appears that Adrian, who has also received some major props from Below Deck Season 5 chef Matt Burns and Below Deck Mediterranean's Captain Sandy Yawn, hasn't responded to Ben's cook off invitation just yet. However, Kate is already on board to judge. "My birthday is January 2 and judging this with 3 of my closest friends sounds like the perfect way to celebrate," Kate tweeted to Ben. "Top Chef x #BelowDeck birthday theme party. Except I don’t want to plan it this time."
Your move, Adrian.
And in case you were wondering, yes, Ben has been scoping out the competition since he has been keeping tabs on this season of Below Deck, watching it with none other than Season 6 deckhand Ross Inia.
