Lindsay Hubbard Got the Sweetest Birthday Surprises from Carl Radke (PICS)
The Summer House cast member felt “so blessed” while celebrating her birthday with her soon-to-be husband.
Lindsay Hubbard’s birthday is August 11. (That explains why she calls Kyle Cooke, whose birthday is August 4, her “Leo brother.”) But even before her special day rolled around this year, the Summer House cast member got a sweet token of birthday love from someone very special. In an Instagram post, Lindsay shared a snap of her heartwarming early birthday gift from her fiancé, Carl Radke.
Carl Radke’s Birthday Gifts for Lindsay Hubbard
In an August 10 Instagram Story post, Lindsay shared a look at a colorful bouquet of flowers. A festive lilac bow was wrapped around the base of the arrangement, and a note was tacked to the top with a star-shaped holder. The note read:
“Happy birthday babe! I know it’s tomorrow but I wanted you to have some flowers today! You deserve it. I love you so much! Love, Carl.” The photo showed off the vibrant pink, yellow, white, and orange flowers in the summery arrangement, but it also offered a peek at Lindsay and Carl’s first home together, which you can tour in the clip above.
The New York City pad has stunning city views from its balcony. The outdoor space abuts a spacious open living room with a couch big enough to make the six-foot-five Carl look small, Lindsay says in the clip.
“We wanted a really big couch for the two of us,” the Hamptons housemate shares. “[Carl] actually looks tiny on this couch! I’ve never seen a six-foot-five man take a nap and actually look small.”
On Lindsay’s actual birthday, her future husband had yet another amazing surprise in store. In an Instagram Story photo of an Hermès box and a card from Carl, Lindsay wrote, “Woke up like this!” and noted that she was “obsessed” with Carl’s card. Later, she showed off what was in the box: Hermès’ Oran sandals in white ($700). “He said: I figured you could use these for all your upcoming bridal celebrations!” Lindsay captioned the photo. “My thoughtful babe!”
Lindsay was also moved by a special delivery from Paige DeSorbo, Amanda Batula, Kyle Cooke, and Ciara Miller. Showing a gorgeous bouquet of flowers, Lindsay wrote, “But how sweet is this?!”
Carl Radke calls Lindsay Hubbard his “rock”
On August 11, Carl shared an Instagram tribute to his wife-to-be. “Happy Birthday to my beautiful fiancé[e],” he wrote. “Today, on your birthday, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. You are my rock, my partner, and my best friend. I love you Lindsay Dale Hubbard!”
In the comments, Lindsay responded to the birthday wishes: “Baaaabe! I love you so much!” she wrote.
Lindsay has also been known to share some birthday love for Carl on his birthday. Last year, she had the opportunity to do so for the first time as his girlfriend.
In 2022, Lindsay celebrated Carl’s January 27 birthday with an Instagram post that included cute photos from the couple’s courtship. “Happy birthday to my BABE!!!” Lindsay wrote. “I’m not going to get too mushy (even though I really want to, and have so much to say) but as I look at these photos, I tear up with pride and happiness at the man you are today, and I couldn’t be happier to celebrate the day you were born!”
