Here's What Patricia Altschul Says She Needs "More" of in Her Incredible House
The Southern Charm matriarch has an upgrade in mind for her iconic home.
It's hard to imagine that Patricia Altschul feels the need to improve any part of her historic home. As you can see in the video above, the Southern Charm matriarch's house has iconic artwork, "great, big" fireplaces, and a "unique" primary bathroom, just to name a few of its jaw-dropping features. However, it seems there is one thing about the home left to be desired.

On Season 9 Episode 4 of Southern Charm, Patricia was sorting through her clothing when she declared, "I need more closets."
Although she may want more room for her clothes, one thing Patricia definitely has enough of at the house is entertaining space. Later in the episode, Madison LeCroy, Shep Rose, and Craig Conover went over to Patricia's house to see Whitney Sudler-Smith and Austen Kroll. The group entered the home through a downstairs dining room with a glass table and eye-catching chairs. In the video above, Patricia notes, "I think this is a lovely little spot. This is where we have breakfast and lunch. We play cards in here, do puzzles." However, for this particular visit, Madison, Craig, and Shep had something slightly different in mind.
As they walked up the stairs to a kitchen and yet another dining area, Madison declared, "We are here to party!"
Madison LeCroy's new closet
Should Patricia ever decide to create more space in the house for her expansive wardrobe, Madison likely has a few tips. Shortly after she and Brett Randle bought a house in 2022, Madison told BravoTV.com that she was planning to transform the room over her garage into a space for getting ready. "That room will be a complete glam room," she shared. "Instead of being a second apartment, I'm flipping it into a full vanity [and] a closet with all lights."
By February 2023, Madison's dream closet was nearly complete. As she showed in Instagram Story photos at the time, the room was furnished with an illuminated closet featuring glass doors and gleaming hardware. However, she explained, "[The] shoe closet isn't finished yet."
In a recent interview with BravoTV.com, Madison shared an update on her home enhancements. "As far as the house goes, I am slowly just making it more of a home every day. Finished up the glam room. You know, it's going to take me a little bit of time to make it exactly the way I want it."
