The Southern Charm OG's family property in the Appalachian mountains featured several beautiful details.
In addition to his awesome beachy bachelor pad on the Isle of Palms, South Carolina, Shep Rose has a few places he can land for a comforting escape, thanks to his family.
Over the past few years, we've caught up with the Southern Charm OG as he's shared a few details about his family's various properties, including the beautiful water-front locale in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.
Moreover, we touched base with Shep back in 2019 when he celebrated his 40th birthday at his family's mountain home in the Appalachians in North Carolina. While we only got a few looks into the home via Shep's various Instagram photos, more recently, we got an extensive peek at the property.

On Season 9, Episode 8 of Southern Charm which aired on November 2, we got numerous glimpses of the Tudor-style home nestled in the mountains of Linville, North Carolina, thanks to a guys trip getaway.
"My family's been going to Linville since the '50s," Shep shared in an interview. "My grandfather bought a place there and so my mom grew up going there and I grew up going there. It's so beautiful and green and streams and golf and fishing and...all the stuff that makes me happy!"
The property was the ideal spot for a guys' trip, with masculine wood-paneled walls, a mounted stag bust, and several mounted ostensibly taxidermied ducks and geese.
We also saw beige and cream-colored furniture and curtains, with several windows bringing in plenty of light while cozy, country-style decorative details like a checkered-printed couch and a bohemian-style area rug peppered the space.
The various bedrooms also echoed that same sense of both country and modern Western style, with doses of cream, brown, and red throughout.
The bedrooms also had specific design details that spoke to the unique character of the home, like plaid-printed pillows, geometric-patterned rugs and curtains, and wall art featuring florals and landscapes.
As the boys entered the stunning space, Jarrett "JT" Thomas noted how "amazing" it was while Craig Conover affirmed, "Yeah, this place is sweet."
Shep Rose says he may buy a home out West
Considering the various Western-style elements of Shep's family home, we weren't surprised when the South Carolina native recently expressed in potentially buying a property out West.
In addition to speaking with BravoTV.com about the financial dealings of his bedding, haircuts, and groceries, Shep also revealed he was “looking at houses at West.”
“In Montana, Wyoming. Colorado. I did a tour of out West,” he shared. “I ended up having a hell of a lot of fun... seeing some real estate, meeting some cool people. But the interest rates, the mortgage rates, it’s just. Crazy. It’s not the right time. Not now. But I do love out West. I do love Montana, and fishing and hunting and stuff.”
