Shep Rose Reacts to Craig Conover's Success With Sewing Down South
After initially questioning his Southern Charm cast mate's sewing career, Shep reflected on Craig's success.
After years of doubts and jokes about Craig Conover's sewing ambitions, Shep Rose is finally ready to give some much-deserved praise to his Southern Charm castmate.
On Part 1 of the Southern Charm Season 7 reunion, host Andy Cohen took to a moment to highlight the success of Craig's business, Sewing Down South. "Arguably and ironically, [Craig] is the one that in seven seasons of the show has used this platform to make the biggest success of himself," he said, noting that Shep has been teasing Craig regarding his sewing for "a long time."
Although Craig agreed, telling Shep, "Your entire existence was trashing me," Shep explained that he has nothing but positive thoughts about his friend's business. "I am very, very happy for you Craig," he said. "I want you to prosper beyond your wildest dreams."
When Andy noted that "he is" in fact prospering beyond his wildest dreams, Shep responded, "Good. I want him to be comfortable and happy."
"Craig has come further than all of us and I don't even deny that," Shep added. "From A to B it's just amazing, the route he's taken."
Craig detailed some of his recent success during the reunion, sharing, "We did a quarter million in November in sales. We just had our first order placed for 30,000 pillows, we don't even know we can fill it. They're our first million dollar order."
Sewing Down South will soon be growing in a major way. Craig revealed he will soon be opening his first store "right next to Leva [Bonaparte]'s restaurant," explaining that in addition to pillows, "I want to do, like, kitchen stuff."
