Take a Peek at Craig Conover’s Impressive New Pool, Hot Tub & Backyard
The Southern Charm cast member shared a look at his recently revamped Charleston yard.
Craig Conover is giving us yard envy. The Southern Charm cast member has been busy upgrading the outdoor space at his Charleston home (see it pre-renovations in the clip above). And in his recent Instagram Stories, Craig is proving that his outdoor oasis has become a pretty luxe place to grill and chill.
In one post, Craig could be seen leaning back in a bubbling hot tub. A fire pit was ablaze nearby, and a freshly mowed lawn and palm trees were spread out in the distance. Craig is taking his homeowner duties seriously as his yard evolves.
In another recent post, the Sewing Down South founder asked his followers for feedback on a certain issue pool owners face. Addressing his audience from the gym, the expert sewer said, “I’ve been meaning to ask everyone… if you have a pool robot that you love, please let me know what it is. Because a lot [of pool robots] have incredible reviews, but then they have some bad reviews too.”
For the record, Craig added that he is looking for a battery-powered robotic pool cleaner. He also wants one with “a very fine filter because of our pollen issues,” he shared. “I feel like I have a lot of pollen on top of my pool. Anyway, if you have a pool robot you love, please recommend it.”
This is clearly a man who cares about his pool, his pollen, and — as evidenced in the photo below — living his best outdoor life.
Craig isn’t the only one enjoying his yard. His pal Shep Rose recently came by for a visit. While at Craig’s home, Shep shared a look at the backyard “makeover” in his own Instagram Stories.
“So we’ve come a long way, I think everyone can attest to that,” Shep said as he showed off the new-and-improved outdoor space. “This is Craig’s new spread out behind his new house. He’s got a putting green; we just got out of the hot tub. I’m staying with him while I’m in town ’cause my house is being renovated.” The buddies also grilled up some burgers during their visit.
Last September, Craig showed off the start of his backyard revamp. “Exciting start to the backyard,” he captioned a post, which included before-and-after photos. “Check out the new [screened-in] porch and deck along with some new paint and [long-awaited] new windows.”
“We’ve got this beautiful screened-in porch that we renovated,” Craig said in an Instagram video. After moving to the “pretty decent-size deck,” Craig explained that he had plans to set up a grill and a smoker for outdoor cooking. As for the pool, Craig shared back then, “We break ground in two weeks.”
