Here's What "Fall in Charleston" Looks Like in Craig Conover's Backyard
The Southern Charm-er recently enjoyed the outdoor space with his castmate Shep Rose and his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo.
Although summer is officially over, the lingering warm temperatures have extended the opportunities for outdoor hosting and backyard fun. Example? Craig Conover’s recent get-together at his newly renovated home.
On Thursday, October 5, the Sewing Down South founder posted an Instagram Story that documented his autumn pool day in Charleston, South Carolina. The photo showed Craig sitting in the attached hot tub along with his Southern Charm castmate Shep Rose and his Summer House girlfriend, Paige DeSorbo. The trio was all smiles as they soaked up the October sun and enjoyed Craig's new spa, which was surrounded by large trees, lush greenery, potted flowers, and a small firepit.
“Fall in Charleston,” Craig captioned the post, followed by the fallen leaves emoji.
Shep reshared the photo in an Instagram Story, which included a brief message: “Love seeing my friend [Craig Conover] palatial pool/spa complex. And of course [Paige DeSorbo] is just icing on the cake.”
Craig Conover's Extensive Backyard Makeover
Craig began upgrading his backyard over a year ago, and would regularly take to Instagram to provide progress updates. The Southern Charm-er ultimately elevated the space with a full pool and the aforementioned spa, as well as gorgeous flower and vegetable gardens, a mini-golf course, and a sprawling back porch. The renovation also included the addition of a built-in TV; a barbecue grill; and several sleek furniture pieces, some of which were selected by Paige.

Shep applauded the renovations back in May, when he returned from a trip and spent a few days at Craig’s home.
“So we’ve come a long way, I think everyone can attest to that,” Shep said in a video that was filmed in Craig’s backyard. “This is Craig’s new spread out behind his new house. He’s got a putting green; we just got out of the hot tub. I’m staying with him while I’m in town ’cause my house is being renovated.”
Shep then turned the camera to Craig, who was seen flipping burgers and sausages on the grill.
“Here’s the funny part: Craig, he gets a second chance at the apple on the grill out … I think he’s actually quite good,” Shep said, before referring to their previous barbecue fails. “We weren’t ready yet, it was the smoker. We’ll let you know how it goes, but I feel good about this grill out and I’ve felt bad about ones in the past.”
Shep concluded the Story with a quick review of Craig’s backyard hot tub, which he described as “sublime.”
