Craig Claps Back at Patricia's Comments on His Pillows: "Jealousy Has Set In"
The Southern Charm pillow-maker responded to Patricia Altschul's assessment of his label, Sewing Down South.
On the December 10 episode of Southern Charm, Whitney Sudler-Smith and his mother, Patricia Altschul, watched Craig Conover present his Sewing Down South pillows on HSN. "You and Craig are having kind of like a home shopping standoff," Whitney pointed out. "You have a deal; he has a deal." But Patricia doesn't seem to think of it as a standoff, per se.
Though she just launched her own line of home goods, "I don't consider Craig competition in any way, in any form," Patricia said in her interview. "My pillows are unique and in the luxury category. Craig's pillows are affordable." (To be fair, during her December 10 appearance on Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen, Patricia said that she has one of Craig's "beautiful, apricot-colored" pillows out by her pool, and added: "I think he did great; I love Craig.")
But when Craig appeared on WWHL on December 17, he responded to Patricia's infamous "affordable" comment. "I was surprised to see that," he said. "Sewing Down South is doing very well, and ... I root for everyone. But, I think Patricia's jealousy has set in — I don't think she thought we were going to be this successful." See the rest of Craig's clap-back in the clip above.
