Austen Kroll Gives a New Update on His House After Finishing His Bedrooms
The Southern Charm-er revealed what he spends "more money on" at home these days.
After buying a new home in 2021, it took Austen Kroll a bit of time to finish furnishing the space. In August 2022, the Southern Charm cast member told BravoTV.com that although had "made so much progress with...a light fixture here, a chandelier here,” he hadn't "gotten a chance to dedicate a full amount of time to completing" the house.
However, in May 2023, Austen was proud to show off his long-awaited finished bedrooms. “Soo once again, I’m almost embarrassed to admit, but I’ve been in my house for almost two years, and my two guest rooms were finally completed by my incredibly talented friend [Rodrigo Reyes]," he wrote in an Instagram Story.
Austen Kroll's New House Update
Now that all of Austen's bedrooms are finished, it seems he's investing in making them feel luxurious. In the video above, Austen shares with BravoTV.com, "Now that I have three bedrooms, I spend more money on bedding than I do on hair and face products combined."
It turns out he's not the only one. In the same video, Madison LeCroy declares, "I spend a lot of money on my bedding."
"I have this topper on there that monitors my heart rate, my oxygen levels," she continues. "You spend half of your life in your bed. Invest in it."
Unsurprisingly, Patricia Altschul also has some luxurious bedding in her house. "High-quality bedding is most important," she says in the clip. "I have the finest European sheets, which come from France."
Shep Rose, however, doesn't have the same priority. "Thread count? I don't care," he says. "I sleep on the couch mostly."
Austen Kroll is considering life outside of Charleston
Austen shared more details about his house, and his life in Charleston, in a different recent interview with BravoTV.com. "I really, really love my house," he said. "I love my location. It's so cozy for me. You know, there's 10-foot ceilings. When I walked inside for the very first time, I was like, 'This is my home. This is it.'"
However, he explained, "Now that I've been there and I'm getting some renovations done on it and things like that, I can't help but think about other real estate and maybe what life outside of downtown Charleston holds for me."
