Destiney Rose Reveals Exactly What It's Like Living Next Door to Reza Farahan
The Shahs of Sunset cast member shared new details about the "lit" day-to-day in her glamorous house.
Although Destiney Rose has always been, as she explained on Shahs of Sunset's Season 9 premiere, "a high-rise type of chick," she's now happily adjusting to suburban living. "I have hardwood floors, so I roller skate around the house," Destiney told Bravo Insider. "I have fun! I have to live my best life, you know?"
Moving into a bigger home also gave her an exciting decorating project. The house, decked out with "pinks and flowers and gold and mirrors and crystals," boasts "a bar and fire pits" and has "candles everywhere."
The abode has a spacious living room, chic bedroom, and gorgeous backyard, but one room is especially important to Destiney. Her dressing room "looks like 'backstage, broadway show’s about to start' dressing room," she described. "There’s wigs all over the top of the walls, all around the whole room, thigh-high boots from one wall all the way to the other wall... It’s my favorite place to be."
As Destiney explained on the show, "A bitch moved in next door to Reza [Farahan]," and having her friend live in such close proximity has been nothing short of amazing. "It is legit, like, lit in our neighborhood," she said. "I see Reza every single day. I see Adam [Neely] every single day. There’s no greater feeling than knowing that you are protected, that someone’s there. God forbid anything happens, they are there."
Of course, no problem is too small to call her friends for help. "My dog, Frank Sinatra, can’t help me with my zipper on my dress or putting on a jewelry clasp," she explained. "I have Reza and Adam, and they totally are there to help me." As Destiney continues working on her new line, AHHLOOO, she'll ask the couple to "come over and try on a necklace or 'hold this purse, let me see what it looks like.' 'Wear this sock, let me see how it fits on a man’s foot,'" she said. "They’re like my testers."
Destiney also finds herself spending plenty of time in Reza and Adam's backyard, which she says is "like Palm Springs oasis."
"We have pool parties. I’ll just go over with a cocktail, we’ll sit outside, we’ll shoot the sh-t," she explained. "We’ll end up going to the store, we’ll go to the Persian market, we’ll pick cucumbers and talk about gardening. We can’t really go out because of [the COVID-19 pandemic]... We live in this bubble to make sure that we’re doing our part and staying safe."
That being said, the friends don't exactly choose to do everything together. Destiney said with a laugh, "He runs, and I’m like, 'Ew, run for the both of us,' while I’m roller skating drinking a martini."
