Christian Siriano Shared What a Summer Sunday Looks Like in His Backyard & We're Obsessed
The Project Runway designer had the most adorable, sun-filled weekend with his pets and his partner, Kyle Smith.
When he's not dressing up various stars for the Met Gala or the Academy Awards, Project Runway mentor Christian Siriano heads to the idyllic locale where he can find peace and serenity: his modern-style Connecticut retreat.
We've caught up with the designer before as he's shown off some of the details of his space, such as back in the summer of 2020 when he gave a view via Instagram of his incredible pool deck. The space featured a hot tub and plush lounge chairs, along with a beautiful backdrop of trees. There was also a serene outdoor living space with an umbrella-topped picnic table and a few pillowed chairs for a comfortable and picturesque seating area.
Christian also showed off a sleek outdoor sofa from Restoration Hardware in the snap, showing off two dogs who were basking in the sun on the sofa atop the cushions. "They really love our new sofa."
More recently, Christian shared more views of his incredible, spacious backyard.
Christian Siriano's Summer Sunday at his Connecticut Home
On August 27, the fashion designer took to his Instagram Stories to show how he spent his Sunday out in the sun with some very special companions.
In a few snaps, we got a look at his gorgeous backyard and how one of his pets, an adorable yellow lab, Poppy, was soaking up some rays and enjoying the outdoor space. "Queen of the modern house!" Christian wrote over a photo of his dog lounging on the green grass as we got peeks at his beautiful pool and modern-style home.
Christian then went on to share a couple of photos of himself and his partner, Kyle Smith, as they enjoyed their time by the pool having drinks and taking in the last days of summer.
More details about Christian Siriano's home
Christian shared a few details about his Westport, Connecticut home in 2021 with Open House TV, giving a full tour of the space.
In the video, Christian shared the details about the sprawling abode, showing how he decorated it with items he loves. He also noted how he wanted the house to feel "clean and elegant" while also still being "warm and beautiful," creating an "indoor-outdoor living" vibe.
"This is a need from being in New York City all the time," Christian stated in the clip talking about the full view of nature and the bounty of trees that line his backyard.
