Wendy Williams Is Moving out of the Sober House — Here's What Her Days Looked Like While She Was There
Wendy Williams painted a rather austere image of life in the sober house, but insists that living there is one of the "best things" that could have happened to her.
In her first public statement since she served her husband, Kevin Hunter, divorce papers, Wendy Williams shared that she's moved of the sober house she had been living in.
Williams first opened up about living in the house back in March, when she spoke to her TV audience about her struggles with cocaine addiction. She gave an update on her situation on the April 15 episode of her show. "I’m moving out of the sober house in just a few days, you know," she shared. "It’ll be Wendy on her own."
The talk show host provided more candid details about her current situation, adding: "I have to tell you, you know, I’ve been dealing with issues with addiction, alcoholism, and I have a whole new life that I planned for myself and my son ... Believe me you, when you lay in a room with no TV and four gray walls all day … this is my life in the sober house, it’s one of the best things, honestly, that could have ever happened to me."
Previously, Williams shared even more about her life in the house. "Doors locked by 10 p.m., lights out by 10 p.m. So I go to my room and I stare at my ceiling and I fall asleep to wake up to come back here to see you," she told her TV audience. "So that is my truth."
