Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter Are Looking into Separation (If This Source Is to Be Believed)
The talk show host has been married to husband Kevin Hunter for 22 years.
Are Wendy Williams and Kevin Hunter going to separate? If an anonymous source is to be believed, the talk show host and her husband slash manager may be looking into the possibility after 22 years of marriage.
“There is a discussion about what happens now — everyone is asking, ‘How can they possibly stay together?’ Wendy still loves Kevin, but her health is at stake," the source told Page Six. “They are so tangled up together in business, so they are carefully looking at what a separation could entail. It will be difficult.”
"Long week," Williams casually admitted on air Friday.
That was an understatement, as it was the end of a particularly tumultuous five days. After Hunter's alleged longtime mistress Sharina Hudson gave birth in a Philadelphia hospital on Monday, Williams was found drunk and taken to a hospital, where she was given a banana bag of fluids.
"Rooting for you! Sending love and support! @WendyWilliams," tweeted The Real Housewives of New York City cabaret star, Luann de Lesseps, who has been a guest on the show and has battled addiction issues herself, in solidarity.
The week before, Williams admitted to her audience that she is living in a sober house, which she said only her husband and son Kevin Jr. knew about — she referenced her past addiction to cocaine, but didn't get into specifics about why she is currently there. In early March, she returned to her show after an almost three-month hiatus, during which time she was also hospitalized; at the time, the stay was attributed to complications from her Graves' Disease.
During that show, she said her marriage was solid and she was "swell."
Warm thoughts to Williams as she faces a tough time.
