Hold On: Is Prince William Cheating on Kate Middleton?

And here we were, thinking that all the drama in Buckingham Palace was relegated to the rumored tension between Kate Middleton and Meghan Markle. (Plus, OK, maybe a little extra Markle drama on the side.) But as it turns out, there's also royal scuttlebutt brewing around Prince William and Kate Middleton, with some sources alleging that the prince is... not acting so princely when it comes to being faithful. Could there be trouble in paradise? Here's what's been said: 

According to British tabloid The Sun, Middleton has recently had a falling-out with a former pal named Rose Hanbury, who's a former model and is now the Marchioness of Cholmondeley. (Yep, we had to Google that term: Marchioness means wife of a marquess.) While Middleton and her prince had formerly been close to Hanbury and her husband and routinely gone on double dates, Middleton reportedly wants to phase the couple out of her life. But, why? 

While the tabloid didn't say, it's also been reported that both couples involved in the report have threatened legal action about the story. This begs the question: What about the falling-out is so sensitive, it must remain secret at all costs? What is behind this falling-out, exactly? Well, one gossip columnist has a theory. 

According to the gossip column Lainey Gossip, "rumours of an affair between Will and Rose have been simmering." Say it isn't so! Now, this theory has hardly been proven. For now, it's really just idle gossip. But still, we'll be watching to see how this story unfolds.
