Get a Full Look Inside Marc Jacobs' West Village Townhouse Sold By Ryan Serhant
The Million Dollar Listing New York broker sold the designer's incredible 4,796-square-foot home.
In March 2020, Ryan Serhant revealed that he sold Marc Jacobs' townhouse in one day, and on Million Dollar Listing New York's May 20 episode, viewers finally got to watch the impressive sale take place.
While the broker shared the $12 million listing price in an Instagram post last year, on the episode, it was revealed that one of Kirsten Jordan's clients purchased the 4,796-square-foot home for $10.5 million. "A townhouse in this location is perfect, and it is the perfect size," Kirsten said in an interview, later adding, "This home is perfect for my clients. Not just because it's stunning, but it's also a piece of New York history."
As Ryan put it, "All of the Marc Jacobs-ness of his house" was removed because the designer and his husband, Charly Defrancesco, had started the process of moving out. However, even without their decor, the home was still jaw-dropping thanks to features including custom gold leafing on the ceiling, H. Theophile hardware, a mica stone fireplace, and more.
Additionally, "Hundreds and hundreds of thousands of dollars of millwork went into" a custom Mahogany closet, Ryan explained during the episode. While Kirsten noted her clients would have to do work to the house, she had to admit, "This closet is incredible."
