See Inside Tracy Tutor's $29.9M Listing Rooted in Emotional Family History
Although the MDLLA agent's sister's home is filled with "sweet memories," it also made her "nearly quit the business" a decade ago.
On the September 30 episode of Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles, Tracy Tutor's new listing hit close to home in more ways than one. "Mapleton has been in all of our lives for like 11 years now," she said as she described her sister Kristin's house. "We've done holidays, Christmastime there. I mean we've had birthdays there, just a lot of sweet memories."
However, the house was the source of tension between her and Kristin many years ago. In December 2020, Tracy opened up about the challenging time in an Instagram post. "Ten years ago, when [Kristin] first bought the home for $13.5M, it would have been one of the biggest deals at that time in my career ... if she had used me as her real estate agent," she wrote. "But that's not what happened. When I learned that she had bought it through someone else and hadn’t even asked me, I nearly quit the business."
In an interview during the episode, she added, "I questioned my worth as a broker when she chose not to hire me."
More than a decade later, Kristin hired Tracy to sell the house, and the sisters agreed to put the 9-bedroom, 9-bathroom home on the market for $29,900,000. Tracy quickly got to work, and when she showed David Parnes and one of his clients the abode, David was very impressed. "I believe in it," he said.

"There's sexy offices and then there's like this," Tracy said. David added: "This is a power office." Over in the sunken media space, Tracy admired the "cozy" vibe.
Chic Dining Room & Hidden Wine Cellar
"A little secret" of the home, Tracy explained, was a hidden "fully functioning wine cellar." Another stunning room of the house was the "great dining room."
Bold Billiards Room
The room where Tracy spent most of her time at the home was the billiards room, which is complete with a glamorous bar featuring onyx countertops.
Glam Bedrooms
The home had 9 bedrooms, including the nearly 2,000-square-foot primary suite that included a sitting room, sleeping quarters, a fireplace, and walk-in closet.
Gorgeous Living Room
The 11,500-square-foot home had seven fireplaces, including an eye-catching one in the living room.
