Josh and Heather Altman's Massive Backyard Is the Perfect Self-Isolation Spot
Asthe Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles broker proved while homebound with his family, his expansive outdoor area has no shortage of room for activities.
While Heather and Josh Altman are homebound with their daughter, Alexis, and son, Ace, amid the coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak, they can turn to their 6,000-square-foot Beverly Hills home's expansive backyard for some quality outdoor time.
The Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles broker's wife showed multiple glimpses of the outdoor area in a series of March 30 Instagram Stories. As seen in the snaps of Alexis ("Lexi") and the family's dogs basking in the sun atop multiple blankets on the grass, the 2-year-old has no shortage of room for backyard activities. In addition to a mini white car perfectly sized for the little one sitting in the yard, she also has a more permanently-placed green table with an attached overhead umbrella.
Arguably the most eye-catching piece featured in the snaps is a replica of Robert Indiana's famous Love sculpture standing isolated at the yard's edge.
The grassy area appears to lead directly to the home's brick-lined pool and jacuzzi where the family of four was spending their time last week. “Finally a day without rain and enough time to heat the jacuzzi,” Heather shared at the time. “Lexi is a happy camper.”
Between the breathtaking swimming setup, wide-ranging grass area, and outdoor living room, the family has a variety of outdoor downtime space to choose from. Still, they often opt to spend most of their time in one particular room indoors. “We’re a big foodie family. We love to eat, cook, and entertain, so the kitchen is really my favorite part of the house," Josh explained in a recent interview, to which Heather added: "It’s definitely the hub, and it’s comfortable for all of us."
