Quad Webb shared some huge news last spring. The Married to Medicine cookbook author revealed that a little girl had come into her life: her baby niece, Ariana, or Ari for short.

How to Watch

Watch Married to Medicine premiering November 24 on Bravo. Now streaming on Peacock and the Bravo App.

As Quad gets ready to celebrate Ari's first birthday on April 8, she reflected on how fortunate she is to have her niece in her life during an exclusive interview with Bravo Insider in March. "I'm just super duper, I'm super blessed. I'm super blessed. The other day I got another call with another great blessing within the family. You guys have just got to wait and see," Quad shared. "But I can tell you, my life is full."

Quad previously clarified her role in Ari's life in a statement to The Daily Dish in June 2020. "I am filling in the gaps, as there have been several rumors. I want to clarify that baby Ari is not my adopted daughter," she said. "My mom and I are in a supportive role for Ari, and while everyone is elated about the new addition to our family, she has a mother."

"We are the village here to support baby Ari," Quad added in the statement. "We appreciate your prayers and ask for privacy at this time."

Quad opened up more about what it's been like having Ari in the family over the past year. "Baby Ari is super sweet, super amazing. Fun-loving kid, gorgeous. She brings so much joy to my family. We adore her," she gushed to Bravo Insider. "And we are right there whenever she needs us. And that’s never going to change. It’s just never going to change. I mean, she has been a blessing to us as much as we’ve been a blessing to her."

Quad is definitely focused on family, including her plans to start a family of her own one day. "I’ve always wanted children of my own. Always. That’s never changed, and I still do," she explained. "It’s just, you know, creating the right environment, creating the right situation, and moving forward with it."

Among the milestones Quad and her family have marked with Ari during the past 12 months is the tot's very first photo shoot. Quad posted the adorable pics from that session on Instagram on February 18, which show Ari sweetly sleeping with the prettiest pastel backgrounds, including one scene where she is napping on the moon. Another photo shows Ari looking at the camera as she sits in the O among flowers that spell out the word "love." "It was a good time. And we got some great pictures of her," Quad said of Ari's first photo shoot during her interview with Bravo Insider. "So that’s a good keepsake for her."

Not only is Quad excited to be celebrating Ari, as well as her niece Lanyah's 17th birthday, this April, the Married to Medicine friend will be celebrating a big birthday of her own this year. Quad will be turning 40 years old on May 13.

Quad said that it feels "excellent," "superb," "fabulous," and it "couldn't be any better" to be celebrating the big 4-0 this year. "Life is — I'm serious — life is good. I mean, the freedom that I have, I think, brings me the most joy. And the blessings that God is still pouring down upon me in my life, I couldn’t ask for more," Quad shared. "You know, maybe someone else may see it a lot different, but I'm living it. And I'm very, very happy. I'm very happy with where I am in life right now. And who would have known? You know, was there some adversity there? Of course. But in the adversity, there’s been a lot of blessings. And I'm grateful."
