Dr. Jackie Walters’ Home Renovation Horror Stories Are Going to Blow Your Mind
The Married to Medicine doctor is spilling some tea about her difficult home renovation.
Here’s a fact: Remodeling a home is an arduous process. Sure, the end result is typically worth the blood, sweat, and tears involved, but when you’re in the midst of a seemingly never-ending renovation, it can be hard to see the forest through the trees. While Dr. Jackie Walters is trying to remain positive about her massive home remodel, she admitted to BravoTV.com that it hasn’t been easy.
“Ooh, it’s hard,” she recently told BravoTV.com. “It’s been a process.” Backstory: The Married to Medicine doctor bought a fixer-upper last year that was in a great neighborhood but didn’t have the “right vibe.” Since then she’s undertaken a full-home renovation that involves blowing out the kitchen and adding a full master suite with a much bigger closet.
Living through this renovation — which is two months behind schedule — has been a "painful" situation for Dr. Jackie. What’s the worst part? “The contractors not coming every day,” she told us. “To see them tear out a wall and it stays like that for three days. Or to see them misuse your house, like it’s not a real house. To see them go to the bathroom in a water bottle and leave it there when you come home. Oh my god. Yeah, it’s been a process.”
We feel your pain, Dr. Jackie! But, that said, it will all be worth it in the end when you’re living in your dream home. When’s the grand reveal?!
