Amid Split from Husband, Caroline Stanbury Gives an Update on Her Living Situation
The Ladies of London alum might have plans to leave Dubai and move to the United States — here's what she said.
Unsurprisingly, Caroline Stanbury’s current living situation is complicated. Since announcing that she and her husband, Cem Habib, are divorcing back in December, the Ladies of London mother has been spending time thinking about her next steps. “I’m working out figuring out where I wanna live after this,” she told BravoTV.com. “Which country I wanna be in, where I’m going to move, if I’m gonna move. You know? Thinking.”
Given that Cem’s work led the family to Dubai, whether or not the family will continue living in the UAE after the divorce is unforeseen. (Haven't seen the couple's stunning home? Check out our photo gallery here!) "Yes, we’re all staying in Dubai right now,” Caroline told us. “I mean, if we decide to move, then we’ll move, you know, but right now, we’re staying here.”
That said, if Caroline were to move, she does have her sights set on a surprising new locale. “I definitely have my eye set on the states. That’s my — that’s my goal. I’ve got friends in New York and Beverly Hills. Um, Beverly Hills probably is more of a relaxed atmosphere for me, at least. I love it. I’ve got a lot of friends in L.A., you know? But you never say never to New York either.”
As for whether the Caroline would return to the motherland, well, she has some thoughts about that, too. “Uh, I don’t think so. I mean, I don’t know. Again, never say never. My family’s there, but … I want a new chapter. I like new things. I feel like, you know, I feel like I was meant to do 'According to Caroline' and I’m really excited about bringing it to America.”
