Kim Kardashian is about to be a mother of four — can you blame her for wanting to chill for a second? The Keeping up with the Kardashians star has been known to host lavish, themed baby showers, like that time she celebrated her daughter Chicago's forthcoming arrival in an invite-only forest of cherry blossom trees. But for the shower that she held this past weekend, Kim just wanted to kick back with her dearest pals and a whole lot of CBD. (Tamra Judge would be proud.)
Kim announced the theme of her uber-chill bash earlier this month. "I just want a zen-like CBD-themed baby shower," she told E! News. "I just want massages, I want to do like a tea ceremony with crystals and we're going to have a drink at this baby shower — we're not pregnant."
We'll be honest: We weren't quite sure what this CBD party would look like. But now that we've seen photos of what went down, we have to confess, we kind of want to live inside this laid-back daydream.
Kim tapped her go-to party planner Mindy Weiss to plan the affair (who also produced baby True's stunning first birthday party), and posted tons of photos from the dreamy bash.
What does a CBD-themed day look like, exactly? Let us paint a picture for you: There was a station where guests could make CBD-infused bath salts and body oils. There was the opportunity to create lush, springtime bouquets. There was a 30-minute sound bath scored with the ethereal sound of gongs. And of course — this being a Kardashian bash — there were Yeezy slides for all.
