Gage Edward Shows Daughter Monroe's Beautiful New "Big Girl Bed"
The Flipping Out tot has a beautiful bedroom with custom furnishings "made for her by Daddy Gage."
She's just 3 years old, but Monroe Christine has pretty high standards when it comes to home furnishings. As the daughter of two design buffs, Jeff Lewis and Gage Edward, the Flipping Out tot has a playroom that belongs in a magazine spread, and a dollhouse that puts Barbie's Dream House to shame. Now, check out where she sleeps.
Some weeks ago, Gage had taken to Instagram to share his little one's thoughts on her new sleeping accommodations. "I didn’t want to sleep in my big bed because I wanted to go on the sofa,” the little one confessed. She added: "Sometimes I don’t like my big girl bed. ‘Cause it’s too long!"
Well, it looks like Monroe has warmed up to the long bed a bit since then. In a recent Instagram share, Gage posted a snap of himself and his daughter looking quite content on said bed. Fit for a "big girl" indeed, the bed has a headboard covered in nubby gray fabric.
Above the bed, three mod art pieces include a portrait of a giraffe blowing a bubble, and another image of palm trees. The bed is anchored with two stately nightstands, and both are topped with tasteful lamps.
And lest you're curious who designed this plush setup, Gage spilled it all in the comments. "Bed and nightstands custom made for her by Daddy Gage," he wrote.
