Family Karma's Shaan Patel Has a Major New Project in the Works

Shaan Patel has an exciting new project in the works. The Miami Herald reports that the Family Karma cast member and his father, Dipak Patel, are building a $4 million townhouse development in Miami’s Shenandoah neighborhood.

According to the father-son duo's design, construction, and real estate firm Tanin Group's website, the development will consist of "eight premium townhomes built in two phases, located in one of the best neighborhoods in Miami." The site also declares, "These residences with premium finishes, expansive rooftop terraces, and unique character will blow you away." 

The first four homes are expected to be completed in 2021, while the remaining four are planned for completion in 2022. Once finished, the 2,500-square-foot three-bedroom, three-bathroom houses are planned to feature Italian porcelain tile, quartz countertops, private rooftops accessible by an interior staircase, and Kohler plumbing fixtures, the website explains. 

Compass realtor Joe Azar, who is listing the units, told The Miami Herald that there is unique interest in the homes at the moment due to current global circumstances. “People who were not looking to buy a townhome or single-family house are looking now,” he said. “The pandemic is pushing people who aren’t comfortable living in a 500-unit building.”
