We Need to Take a Moment to Appreciate Bugsy Drake's Most Incredible Tablescapes
The New York Times recently dubbed the Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie "perhaps the greatest tablescape artist who has ever lived."
Christine "Bugsy" Drake recently made her buzzed-about return to Below Deck Mediterranean as second stew, and while Captain Sandy Yawn noted to Hannah Ferrier during the episode that "she's great on table settings," that may have been putting it a bit lightly.
In fact, the New York Times recently referred to the yachtie as "perhaps the greatest tablescape artist who has ever lived," something Bugsy has been proving in her recent Instagram posts showcasing a variety of jaw-dropping table setups.
Bugsy recently gave a bit of insight as to how her masterpieces come together. In a June 24 post showing a table decorated with nautical accents, a commenter asked if yachts come equipped with decor or if Bugsy goes to purchase the items herself, to which she replied: "I usually make do with what I’ve got in the beginning to see what’s needed and then do all the shopping myself."
Although it's hard to find a flaw in any of her incredible tablescapes, it seems Bugsy is able to take some critical feedback in stride. On the same post, one follower wrote: "sorry looks like a yard sale table of goods," to which Bugsy gracefully clapped back: "That’s a fresh perspective," even adding a heart-eye emoji.
Here, we've rounded up some of Bugsy's most incredible recent tablescapes:
