Katie Flood Has Thoughts About Tom Schwartz's Los Angeles Apartment
The Winter House newbie called out one particular item in the Vanderpump Rules cast member's West Coast abode.
Back in 2022, Tom Schwartz opened up about adjusting to life in his new apartment after moving out of the house he shared with Katie Maloney.
In the clip above from Season 10, Episode 3 of Vanderpump Rules, which aired on February 22, Tom invited Scheana Shay over to his Los Angeles abode and gave her a peek inside his new apartment space with unpacked boxes and and yet-to-be-hung artwork — a situation he unfortunately called "depressing."
Though Tom repeatedly told himself in the episode that his situation was "just a phase," there seems to be one element of his bachelor-esque lifestyle that remains — and Katie Flood is calling him out.

On November 26, Tom shared an Instagram video about Gordo and Butters, the two dogs he co-parents with his ex, Katie. While Tom's focus was on his pups, his Winter House castmates Katie and Jordan Emanuel were quick to note a couple of other things about the video.
"[T]his is the most you/unhinged Instagram post I’ve ever seen," the Summer House: Martha's Vineyard cast member quipped in the comments section.
Then, in case we didn't get enough humor in for the day, Below Deck Mediterranean yachtie (and Tom's recent Winter House fling), gave her own opinion on the video, and Tom's abode. "[I]t's the TV on the floor for me," Katie wrote, pointing out how Tom's large flatscreen TV (as well as a speaker and TV remote, we might add) was propped up on the living room floor.
Tom Schwartz's thoughts on his LA apartment
Following Tom's departure from his former house with Katie in June 2022, he shared his mixed feelings about his new home on an episode of Katie’s Dear Media podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me. “I don’t need much. I’m low maintenance. I can live in a small, little apartment,” he said. “It’s just, living in a small, little apartment that you have to pay $3,500 a month for? It’s hard not to be salty. You know what I mean? It’s smaller than my apartment in college.”
He clarified, however, “I’m super grateful to have a roof over my head, you know? I do like my apartment. It’s just hard to go from what we had to that.”
Katie had a different outlook on Tom’s new digs. “I think your apartment is beautiful,” she said. “You just gotta, like, make it your own.” Additionally, she noted, “You don’t have to stay there forever.”
