Andy Cohen Just Gave Us the Bank Street Trash Update We All Needed
The Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen host has good news straight from the streets of NYC.
Andy Cohen has been taking his dog, Wacha, on walks through the West Village in New York City for years, but those jaunts didn't make headlines until 2018, when the Watch What Happens Live host took to social media to rant about the persistent piles of garbage overtaking a townhouse on Bank Street. Regularly posting about the "dump" that looked like a "junkyard," Andy was peeved to say the least.
Thanks to his repeated Twitter and Instagram tirades — and the press coverage all those posts received — Andy was successful in getting the garbage gone! Now, what his 3 million followers simply need to know is whether it's stayed clean.
"Many of you have been asking for a Bank Street update," the new dad said in an Instagram Story, which shows a tidy trash bin area, as he walked with Wacha and pushed a stroller containing his new baby boy, Benjamin. "Pristine, it's as clean as my dog's butt!" he continued. "Wanna know how clean my dog's butt is? It's as clean as Bank Street, 21 Bank Street. It's great!"
Before 21 Bank Street got a good scrubbing, Andy would post tweets such as, “Wacha … I wouldn’t even let him poop there by all that trash.”
Just another example of what positive change happens when Andy uses his voice for good!
