Jax Taylor Shows What He’s Grilling in His New Backyard: “It's 97... That Means Pool Day!”
If it's a scorcher, Jax Taylor is manning the poolside backyard grill at his new home with Brittany Cartwright.
Oh yes, it is officially summer in Los Angeles — where the weekend warmed up in time for a Pride weekend that popped off... followed by a (hungover?) Monday on which temps neared 100 degrees. But Jax Taylor isn't sweating back-to-work Monday like a mere mortal. No, the Vanderpump Rules bartender is making excellent use of the new backyard he shares with fiancé, Brittany Cartwright for one downright enviable barbecue sesh.
Jax took to his Instagram to show off his plans, panning around his backyard with its inviting pool under the sweltering sun and blue sky — adjacent to a built-in gas grill attached to a bar set with two chairs. He wrote, "It's 97 today in the valley!! That means pool day!!"
But it's not all play and no work for Jax, who also took his Instagram followers on a spin through the grocery store, where he panned over the butcher case, noting, "It's grill time!!" So what's on le menu at Chez Jax and Britt?
Well, his phone seemed to focus on the gourmet bacon burgers, offered at $8.99 a pound — although some skewers to the right also seemed a spot-on choice for a backyard grill.
And no, Jax isn't skimping — of course. We recognize that market as Gelson's... one of L.A.'s highest-end grocers where groceries don't come cheap.
