Tom Sandoval Responds to "Judgy" Comments About His Home Decor
The Vanderpump Rules cast member revealed why it took so long for him and Ariana Madix to furnish their new house.
Throughout Season 8 of Vanderpump Rules, many of the cast members cracked jokes about Tom Sandoval and Ariana Madix's relatively unfurnished new home, particularly the lack of chairs. Now that their abode is perfectly decorated, the couple is getting the last laugh.
"When we first moved into the house, people were definitely being a little judgy," Tom said in an interview on the show's September 28 Season 9 premiere. "But you know what? Ya'll can shut up now, because you get a chair, you get a chair... everybody gets a chair!"
Yes, he means everybody. As seen in the episode, the house now has gorgeous seating areas in the kitchen, multiple dining areas, the backyard, and even in the pool. "I'm glad we took our time, didn't buy staging furniture," Tom said to Ariana, who replied, "I would not buy furniture that's had hundreds of butts on it."
In May, Tom opened up to BravoTV.com about decorating the home with his longtime love. “I feel like normally when it comes to decor in a house with a guy and a girl, it can be very like, ‘Okay, the girl just kind of does everything, the guy is like, I just added this one thing,’” he said. “But we obviously both have very strong personalities. You see a nice mix of Ariana and myself in there.”
