See How Lala and Randall Are Turning Their Backyard into a Modern Outdoor Oasis

On an episode of Vanderpump Rules earlier this season, Lala Kent declared: “I will never do another renovation again, you could not pay me to do a renovation." Well, it seems she's had a slight change of heart.

As seen in an Instagram post shared by Lala's fiancé, Randall Emmett, the couple is working with Flipping Out's Megan Weaver to redesign their luxe backyard. 

"Our new backyard plans!" Randall wrote alongside a rendering showing their idea for an ultra-modern update, including a freeform pool as well as a gray and white deck (of course, featuring luxe lounge chairs and a cabana). 

In an Instagram Story, Lala described the rendering as her "backyard dreams coming true."

Although not seen in the posts, the couple's passion for pickleball (as documented in their recent Instagram Stories) will influence part of the backyard's design. When a follower commented to ask about the absence of a "pickle ball arena," Randall responded: "Yes it's there[,] just not in that pic."

The pair spent 18 months renovating the incredible abode, working with Megan and Jeff Lewis on the design. From the opulent living room to the chic all-white kitchen to the glam master bedroom, every current detail is stunning.

As it stands today, their luxe pool has been a topic of conversation in its own right, with Lala's castmate Tom Sandoval joking about its massive size during an episode of Watch What Happens Live With Andy Cohen.

In addition to a basketball/pickleball court, the backyard also currently has a multi-story playhouse and swing set for Randall's daughters. 

Now, it seems Randall is already making big plans to entertain at the outdoor oasis when it is finally complete. When James Kennedy commented to let Randall know the new design "looks amazing," Randall replied: "Can't wait to have you guys over you can [DJ]."
