Lala Kent & Randall Emmett’s Pickleball Court Is Finished & It’s SO Cool
The Vanderpump Rules couple just upgraded their backyard in a major way.
Last year, NBC News ran an article titled: “Pickleball: The fastest growing sport you've never heard of.” And we have to agree — pickleball isn’t a sport we’ve traditionally thought about, especially when it comes to devoting space to it in our backyards. But flash forward a year and the sport is hotter than ever, with Lala Kent and her fiancé, Randall Emmett, among some of its biggest fans!
How much do they love pickleball? Enough to create a humongous court for the sport in his new backyard. The Vanderpump Rules couple has been working with Flipping Out designer Megan Weaver on their home’s renovation, and the last step is turning their backyard into a modern outdoor oasis. Megan recently posted a rendering of what the space will become, with Lala saying it marks her “backyard dreams coming true."
While the new deck, retaining wall, and cabana aren’t quite finished yet, one major backyard element is — Randall’s pickleball court! In a share to Instagram this week, the film producer said, “No one has played a single game on the new pickleball court,” in a video showing the sleek, green, white, and blue space. “It looks beautiful. The backyard will be renovated next but look at this, real posts, real net. We’re ready to go!”
