Lala Kent Shows Exactly Why She Doesn't Want to Be Blonde Anymore
The Vanderpump Rules beauty revealed why she's leaning toward darker hairstyles these days.
During Season 10 of Vanderpump Rules, Lala Kent started sporting an icy blonde hair color. While fans may have gotten used to the style (and the dazzling leopard-print dress she paired it with for the epic Season 10 reunion), the California mom recently started going darker.
On August 7, Lala took to social media to share a couple tings with her followers, showing off a beautiful new honey bronde hair color in the process. While Lala kept some of her former lightness, she ultimately deepened her roots and wove in interspersing elements of chestnut and tawny-colored pieces — a warmer look perfect for fall.
While we originally thought Lala may have opted for the darker hue for the autumn season, it turns out the hair switch may be a little more permanent.
Lala Kent explains why she doesn't want to be blonde
In an October 5 Instagram post, Lala shared a carousel of photos documenting sweet moments from the past few months. Among the snapshots, we saw her adorable daughter, Ocean, cuddling with friends, driving a toy car (a baby Mercedes G-Class SUV, or "G Wagon," as Lala noted), and giving the camera the cutest smile we've ever seen as she rode on a carousel.
Lala also shared a video of herself unboxing an award, hosting a charity gala that benefitted drug prevention, and hanging out with her Vanderpump Rules castmate Ally Lewber. One more thing — she revealed a closeup shot of a very intense split end of hair.
In her caption, Lala reflected on all the aforementioned moments, and then had to take the time to reflect on the split end and its causes.
"I found the craziest split end I’ve ever seen [and] it reminded me why I’m not wanting to be blonde anymore (my greys may prevent that from happening tho)," she wrote about the hair mishap.
In the comments section, her pals were sure to give their two cents on the matter.
"Love you, Ocean and your split ends," Katie Maloney hilariously quipped while Ariana Madix wrote, "Ocean is such a little angel [...] and the split end is really cracking me up."
Lala Kent's Orca Manicure
In addition to her hair, Lala has been keeping us updated on her other beauty moves happening this season.
At the beginning of October, the Give Them Lala Beauty founder showed off a fresh manicure: long, coffin-shaped orange nails with black hues. Taking a closer look, we realized Lala decked out her nails with a teeny image of a black-and-white orca whale.
This isn't the first time Lala has made a reference to orca whales. In addition to appearing in a PETA "free the orcas" ad, in 2022, the West Coast mama posted a photo of herself wearing a sheer dress that showed off the orca tattoo on her rib cage. “My orca tattoo is getting a moment,” she wrote in the caption of the photo.
