Kristina Kelly Reveals an Impressive “Fun Fact” About Katie Maloney

The Heartspring owner shared how the Vanderpump Rules cast member influenced her skincare business.

By Abby Feiner

On Season 10 Episode 13 of Vanderpump Rules, Kristina Kelly celebrated her company, Heartspring, and shared what it took to get the business off the ground. Explaining that she started with “three lip balms,” Kristina developed her products during the day while working night shifts at SUR. The episode showed how far Heartspring has come since launching in 2016, but there was one thing we didn’t learn about the business until now.

How to Watch

Watch Vanderpump Rules on Peacock and the Bravo app.

In a July 23 Instagram photo, Kristina posed with Heartspring’s $14 lavender face mist. “Fun fact: There would be no Lavender Face Mist without [Katie Maloney],” she wrote. “She gets all the credit for coming up with this one.”

As the Vanderpump Rules episode showed, Heartspring’s products also currently include cucumber and rose face mists in addition to lip balms (tinted rose, lemon and sage, lavender and honey, and rosemary and vanilla), soaps (oat and honey, and honeysuckle), and body scrubs (sweet lavender and lemon zest).

On the company’s website, Kristina shares, “Launching Heartspring was something that came very natural to me as I felt incredibly passionate about sharing and educating people about the importance of taking care of our bodies and what products we should use.”

Katie Maloney’s Business Update

While Katie previously helped Kristina’s company by coming up with the lavender face mist, she is currently hard at work opening her own business. After Katie and Ariana Madix announced that their sandwich shop, Something About Her, would be open this summer, the business partners have been sharing exciting updates about the shop’s design, menu, and opening date

“There [are] so many moving parts, and there [are] so many things that need to happen that sometimes ultimately aren’t really up to you, [like] when things can get approved,” Katie shared on the May 31 episode of the So Bad It’s Good with Ryan Bailey podcast. “It’s just there’s a lot that goes into it. But yeah, it’s gonna be this summer, and we are really excited.”
