Katie Maloney’s New Apartment Has a “Totally Tranquil” Bedroom: See Inside
The Vanderpump Rules cast member shows why her bedroom is “totally different” from the rest of her disco-themed apartment.
As you can see in the video above, most of Katie Maloney’s apartment has a “disco theme” and is decorated with “disco balls everywhere,” bold patterns, and fun artwork. However, her bedroom has a “totally different” vibe.
“I wanted it to be just totally tranquil,” the Vanderpump Rules cast member says as she shows the dreamy details of the room, which is decorated in a primarily white and pink color scheme (with a subtle pop of leopard print, of course). “I love it. It’s cozy.” The room has sheer white curtains, a wood dresser, multiple mirrors, a macramé wall piece, and matching white nightstands topped with lamps and decorative details.
Katie got settled in her new home in June 2022 after saying goodbye to the house she shared with Tom Schwartz, and she wasted no time putting her personal touch on every detail. “I love living alone because I get to decorate my own apartment however I want,” Katie told BravoTV.com in a February video shared on Twitter. “It’s very kind of like feminine… it’s like art deco feminine chic, and I love it. I get a lot of compliments on it.”
Shortly after moving in, Katie explained on a June episode of her You’re Gonna Love Me podcast how excited she was to create her “own little sanctuary,” sharing, “I’ve been having fun sort of planning what I want it to look like, what I want the vibes to be.”
As the video above shows, she brought her ideas to life in the “best room” of her apartment, the living room. “I had a vision for this room before I even moved here,” she says. “I got my couch before I moved out of the house… I knew I wanted to do a media wall, so I had the bookshelves for years, bought doors, put them on there, painted everything one color.”
