Katie Maloney Shows a New Look Inside Her Gorgeous Apartment
The Vanderpump Rules cast member has the coolest “new additions” to her new home.
After moving from her former house to a new apartment in June, Katie Maloney was eager to start the decorating process. “I’m really excited to just kind of make my own little space, my own little sanctuary,” she said on an episode of her Dear Media podcast, You’re Gonna Love Me. “I’ve been having fun sort of planning what I want it to look like, what I want the vibes to be. I’ve, like, bought some new furniture. I’m doing little DIY projects. It’s coming together.”
In July, the Vanderpump Rules cast member shared a peek at how she brought her “Art Deco-y chic, colorful” vision to life with a black-and-white rug, beautiful lighting, and a “gorgeous, amazing” olive-colored sofa in her living room. Now, three months later, Katie is sharing an updated look at the living space, which has some eye-catching “new additions.”
In her October 3 Instagram Stories, Katie showed numerous plants (one of which is adorned with a mini disco ball), accent tables, a lamp, and a record player in a corner of her living room. In another area, she had a “Smokeshow” candle from Sunday Forever, a mini vase from Danny D’s Mud Shop, and Jonathan Adler coasters.
Previously, Katie lived with Tom Schwartz in their Valley Village house. In June, she penned an emotional goodbye to the house as they moved out. “The emotions and words are hard to pin down. Closing this chapter on my life feels like attending my own funeral. But I’m very much alive,” she wrote. “Thank you house for being the coziest brightest home, for the memories, for being my sanctuary, for letting me dress you up like a [Hallmark] movie set at Christmas and for being OURS.”
