I Should Have Known Better

Welcome back to Vanderpump Rules. I am having people over and the boys are working the bar. So I gently remonstrate Jax for going to Vegas, for adding fuel to the fire. But I understand the emotional dilemma. Should he walk away and leave Stassi in the hands of Frank? Or should he fight for what he wants. But at what price? Is Frank just a pawn in the convoluted game between the two of them? I don't know the answer, but what I do know is that the emotional dynamics between all of them will have a ripple effect and most importantly upset the balance in the restaurant.
I call a staff meeting (which does not that happen often, but is sometimes necessary) where they all need to vent and rid themselves of any negativity before we reconvene at work. The mere fact that for the first time a physical altercation had taken place, prompted me to mediate between all parties.
I am exasperated by Stassi at this point. I have never witnessed such vindictive expressions, such aggressive terminologies, as when it comes to her interviews. What on earth is she saying? I know for sure in the years I have employed her, I have never been privy to such behavior. She needs to reflect after viewing this and seriously question her judgement in regard to her choice of words.
Laura-Leigh enters into the equation, a girl who as far as I am aware is riddled with insecurities, a fragile creature who will be unprepared for the battle which will ensue. I see this as a cruel reciprocal stroke. Jax luring her into this tangled web. I for one cannot keep tabs on all of them, but viewing this episode I wished I would've done my utmost to keep her out of it.
The staff meeting takes place. I had been unaware of texts between the two and was furious to hear them replayed. Maybe Scheana will be a positive influence on her going forward.
Loved the segment at the Roxy. That is what I would rather see, some positivity!
Oh well until next week. Don't be too harsh on them. They are young and impetuous and often full of regret.
Come and see us at SUR and you will pleasantly surprised and totally unaware of the nonsense I sometimes I have to deal with.
Love always
Lisa.
