Kristen Doute Has an Epic Response for People Claiming She Can’t Afford to Buy a House
The Vanderpump Rules homeowner is quick to tell her followers how it really is.
Amidst news that Kristen Doute bought a house last week — on her own, may we remind you! — there was some, shall we say, backlash (from haters, of course). Many Vanderpump Rules fans wondered how Kristen could afford to own a home when she doesn’t have a job.
Luckily, Kristen had the perfect joking response: "Nah I just asked nicely for the house and they gave it to me," she tweeted.
Here’s the thing, kids: Kristen does have a job. She’s been on a hit show for SEVEN seasons. She also started a successful T-shirt line, James Mae, which currently has more than 33,000 followers on Instagram. Oh, and let’s not forget the Witches of WeHo line of wines that Kristen is producing with Katie Maloney-Schwartz and Stassi Schroeder, which is currently selling out of liquor stores nationwide.
You do the math. Kristen’s making bank, so it’s no surprise that she saved up her hard-earned money and bought herself (and her really cute dogs) a beautiful home in sunny Los Angeles. Can we move on now? (Tune into Vanderpump Rules on Mondays at 9/8c!)
