Over the past seven seasons of The Real Housewives of Potomac, the grande dame has never missed an opportunity to show off a new beauty look. Karen Huger always keeps fans guessing whether she'll have sleek strands, curls, waves, or something else entirely. And, based on the clip above, it looks like she'll be keeping the tradition alive for Season 8.
In the preview for the forthcoming season, Karen debuts the blondest, most voluminous curls we've ever seen her sport. Yes, it's true that the grande dame has given us blonde before. There was the time she appeared on Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen rocking a long, sleek blonde style with face-framing fringe. And, of course, there was her honey-blonde lob era.
The fragrance founder has also experimented with curls over the years. For another appearance on WWHL, she traded her signature sleek, blonde strands for bouncy, platinum-blonde ringlets styled into a half-up ponytail. Despite all the style changes past, we still weren't expecting to see the Potomac mama rocking the gorgeous style she sports in the new season.
Karen Huger's unexpected hairstyle for RHOP Season 8
At the RHOP Season 7 reunion, Karen paired her jaw-dropping blue gown with an elegant blonde topknot. But in the Season 8 clip above, she's traded the sleek coif in for a beautifully bouncy new style.
Wearing a yellow look with a sweetheart neckline and thick straps, Karen has a head full of tight, buoyant curls in a platinum shade of blonde. The sideswept curls tumble down to her shoulders, and she's also accessorized her look with silver hoop earrings and a chainlink choker.
The grande dame's beauty look features fluttery lashes, shimmery lilac eyeshadow, and a glossy pink lip. Meanwhile, Karen's not the only RHOP cast member who's changed up her hairstyle.
Ashley Darby's Haircut
In an October 18 Instagram Story, Ashley Darby showed herself sitting in a salon chair. While her hair was under a wrap in the pic, she hinted that "something's brewing" in her caption.
In Ashley's grand reveal of the new style, she showed off a pixie cut with silky, retro-style curls. It also had a swooping, side-swept bang. "This cut certainly brings out my wild side," she wrote in the caption of the post.
