Katie: It's Obvious Gizelle Doesn't Like Me

Katie explains why she kicked Robyn and Gizelle out of her committee - and why she couldn't care less about Gizelle's "unassumingly smart" comments.

Bravotv.com: Why did you get upset with the other ladies at your committee meeting? What do you think of Gizelle Bryant saying you were delusional?

How to Watch

Katie Rost: It may seem that I got upset to people who don't know me well. I honestly wasn't upset. I was just annoyed and frustrated. Robyn Dixon and Gizelle were not people I was considering asking to be on the host committee in general because we just don't have the same style. They tend to find fault and point out negatives and I just go for it because I know I can always make it work. I was trying to expand my group of contacts and friends, but it's pretty obvious Gizelle doesn't like me and isn't likely to help me with anything. Robyn I think would help, but she has a lot going on financially and working for free under a crunch situation probably wasn't on her radar.

Bravotv.com: Why did you pull over to the side of the road on the way to Bethany Beach?

KR:  I pulled over because I was sick of driving and sick of being picked on. I really wanted a cocktail and some crabs and new energy - some male energy. It wasn't so much about the blog being Googled. I often spend three and a half hours in rush hour traffic with my children when I bring them to their father in New Jersey, and it's much easier then riding in a car with these chicks.

Gizelle Compliments Katie: You're Unassumingly Smart

Bravotv.com: Tell us about hearing Gizelle’s "nice” comment about you at the crab dinner.

KR: Gizelle always has a nasty undertone to what she says. I couldn't honestly care less about anything that comes out of her mouth. She isn't someone who stimulates me with provocative banter, it just strikes me as silly. I love her for who and what she is, which for me is a person who challenges me to stay peaceful in the face of racism, ignorance and pointless troublemaking. She is very pretty to look at and she makes me laugh on occasion, other than that we have nothing to connect over.
