Karen Huger Reflects on Inviting RHOP Alum Katie to Her Spring Fling Party
The Grande Dame has feelings about this RHOP Season 7 moment still — and they just might surprise you.
The cast of The Real Housewives of Potomac has faced ups and downs during Season 7. But they have also, on occasion, partied. In fact, the season kicked off with an event thrown by the Grande Dame herself. As you might recall, Karen Huger hosted a “Spring Fling Celebration of Life” event back at the beginning of Season 7 (like all the way back at the beginning of the season). And yes, she still has feelings about it.
“My most favorite [moment] would have to be the spring kickoff party,” she told BravoTV.com backstage at the Season 7 reunion. “Everybody had a good time. Katie Rost was getting her groove on with Ray. I had to pull him up and say, ‘Hey, I’m here.’ I actually enjoyed that moment. It was great to see everybody together — and I mean everybody.”

Karen had quite the eventful Season 7, including her tensions with another RHOP alum, Charrisse Jackson-Jordan, who appeared throughout the season as a friend of the group. And we learned more about what happened to Karen after the season ended in the closing of the Season 7 finale, which aired on February 5: Karen expanded her Evening with the Grande Dame tour to five major cities. Her #1 fan and loyal “La’ Dame” is still her husband, Ray.
BTW, Season 7 of RHOP may have wrapped up, but the three-part reunion is still ahead on the calendar. The reunion kicks off on Sunday, February 19, with Part 2 slated for Sunday, February 26, and Part 3 on Sunday, March 5.
