Meghan King Debuts a New Nose and Says She Was “Horrified” After Seeing It Post-Op
The Real Housewives of Orange County alum explained why this detail of her rhinoplasty procedure left her “stunned.”
Meghan King often shares intimate details about her life with fans. Over the weekend, The Real Housewives of Orange County alum got candid about the recent plastic surgery she had on her nose and breasts.
Recently, Meghan documented much of her experience on Instagram, including that her surgery was done by Dr. Michael Niccole at CosmetiCare in Newport Beach, California. Meghan shared she was actually “stunned” after the initial reveal of her nose, since she “wasn't prepared” for how much swelling there would be after the rhinoplasty procedure.
“Dr. Niccole did very little to correct my nose, so [...] when he took off that bandage, my nose was wider than it was originally,” she explained in another Instagram Story, showing a snap of what the results looked like immediately after taking off the bandages. “You can see why I was completely horrified.”
She went on: “What they don’t tell you a lot of times ... it can take up to a year for the swelling to go down, so [my nose] will be a lot smaller and narrower as we go on throughout the next 11 months.”
For Meghan, communication with her surgeon was key to understanding why she didn’t initially love her results. “He was always explaining things really well,” she wrote. “It was helpful and awesome to understand the surgery and the results!”
In another part of her Instagram Stories, Dr. Niccole shared the details about the work on her breasts, explaining that he “sewed the implants on the side” to create “more cleavage.”
The Missouri native updated fans with images of the results in an October 3 Instagram Story after a social media user requested to see “after” photos.
“Britney [Spears] clothing [era] circa 2002 is good for the gals,” she quipped while wearing a gray cardigan and matching tank top that showed off some of her cleavage.
